This year sees the second Festival of Stitch in Swansea. It has been based on the theme of the ocean and sea which has allowed for a great diversity of work being produced.
We have been involved in 2 ways, firstly with our textile group Itchy Fingers Textiles and secondly as part of the makers and traders market over the last weekend. It was fantastic to see such a range of products on sale and to meet so many creative people.
Thank you to those who came to say hello and support us. If you havent had a chance to see the exhibitions around Swansea then go and have a look at all the wonderful work. More details can be found on their website or facebook pages.
In honour of the festival we are hosting not one but 3 workshops to create your very own seascape with found objects. We will be needlefelting and using a range of fibres and objects found on the beach to create your very own seascape. More details can be foudn on our workshop details page.
